Our Goals are to Work Together,,,
to promote and educate the public the benefits of shopping local,
to create interest in the unique diversity of what Decatur offers,
to be stronger as a group when addressing local governments,
to plan events and promotions,
to promote each other,
and most importantly to individually SHOP LOCAL INDEPENDENTS FIRST.
Cost
We are a not for profit group. The cost to be a member depends on how many of the services we offer that you use. Each event and promotion will have its own cost to be divided up fairly among those who choose to participate.
A yearly dues of $60.00 will be needed to cover clerical supplies and website cost.
Criteria to Join 4 simple rules.
1. Must be independently owned small business unique to Decatur.
2. Must have a Decatur Address.
3. No franchise or brand name within your company name.
4. Must be a legally licensed retailer or service provider.
